A Wake-Up Call From My Skin
When I began working on-site as an engineer, I faced a relentless battle with the city’s extreme micro-climates.
The invisible 90% humidity, PM2.5 pollution, and the constant thermal shock of moving between scorching outdoor heat and freezing indoor air-conditioning were stressors I didn’t see — but my skin did.
The result was a severe, painful outbreak of seborrheic dermatitis that refused to heal. It was a profound wake-up call. We realized that skincare shouldn’t just be a passive nighttime cleanup; it needs to be active, real-time protection — engineered like daily tactical infrastructure for the skin.
The Green Story
As certified Korean Cosmetic Formulators, we used to gather in our little studio, blending clean ingredients with the playful passion of modern alchemists. Yet, the deeper we went, the more we grew fatigued by the sheer volume of waste traditional beauty manufacturing generated.
Refusing to play the role of the passive ‘boiling frog’ in an environmental crisis, we created Skreen — a brand designed to elevate the beauty industry through zero-waste circularity. In the 21st century, uncompromising efficacy and sustainable design shouldn’t be a compromise; they should be the baseline. Beautifully made, clinically proven, and radically responsible.
